1. Adotar a política dos 3 R's: Reduzir, reutilizar e reciclar

E por fim, recicle tudo que não seja reutilizável para não aumentar o acúmulo de lixo.
2. Reduza o consumo de carne
Segundo relatório da ONU, o consumo de carne está diretamente ligado ao aquecimento global. A produção desenfreada de carne bovina impacta o aquecimento global porque ela, em alguns casos, resulta no aumento do desmatamento, queimadas, gás metano advindo da digestão dos animais e do altíssimo consumo de água. Isto quer dizer que, se quisermos combater as mudanças climáticas, devemos diminuir a quantidade de carne produzida e consumida.
Faça, pelo menos, uma refeição vegetariana por semana e reduza os custos energéticos, naturais e de transporte relacionados à criação e distribuição deste tipo de produto. Há cada vez mais brasileiros mudando os seus hábitos alimentares para produtos que não sejam de origem animal, seja por questões de saúde, ambientais ou crueldade animal. Seja um deles também!
